Thank you for drawing attention to the potential for African countries to blossom under leadership of the likes of Nkrumah and Sankara, and with ethical investment from countries like China, leading to win-win outcomes. The pathway towards a prosperous and peaceful Africa is a crucial challenge for humanity.

Toward the end of the excellent 2+ hour lecture linked in this article, there's mention of Kagame allegedly turning away from the clutches of the Anglo-American empire in recent years, a phenomenon which I question, as Rwandan-backed militias and death squads continue to ravage eastern DRC with low-intensity warfare and resource looting, ongoing for many decades now. Could it be he's working on the one hand with China to improve quality of life in tiny Rwanda while continuing to shamelessly exploit his huge but unstable western neighbor? And which elements of the Anglo-American empire encourage and profit from that? He and the RPF/RPA have blood on their hands (with US support) going back to the early 1990's. A young Congolese woman (mother of 5) I met personally a few years ago, had been working with her husband to support survivors of violence in building local enterprises, when she was ambushed and killed 2 weeks ago by Rwandan militias in eastern DRC.
